About Hardwood Hollow
Hardwood Hollow is a search fund, founded with the single purpose of acquiring and operating one high-quality business for the long haul. Recognizing that business owners have worked tirelessly and poured their lives into their employees and customer relationships, my goal is simple - to continue the legacy of an owner looking to transition his or her business to the next generation of entrepreneurs. Our team of investors and advisors is passionate about small businesses and will work with owners to create a flexible, mutually beneficial exit. Additionally, because our capital is not tied to the time horizons of a traditional private equity fund, we can provide owners assurance that their business will remain in good, capable hands years to come.
Founder & Director
I founded Hardwood Hollow to pursue a life-long dream of owning and operating a small to medium-sized business. I care deeply about creating American jobs, developing employees, and building the kind of value that lasts, both in a business and the community around it. I have experience leading teams and growing businesses, and with the help of seasoned advisors, I am well positioned to continue your accomplishments.
Most recently, I was a consultant with The Boston Consulting Group (BCG), where I focused on strategy projects in the energy, retail, and consumer goods sectors. Prior to BCG, I worked at Pacific Architects and Engineers, a former Lockheed Martin division, where I led efforts to win new business and worked on a roll-up of middle market defense support businesses.
I studied mechanical engineering at Ole Miss and completed my MBA at Harvard Business School. In my spare time, I enjoy hunting and fishing with friends and traveling to new places.
